Meet Up

Met with S4 friends yesterday at MidValley almost one year after the class gathering this January I remembered... Compared to the last gathering, this was simply a meet up because only a small portion turned up... Those who attended are Joel (for once de organizer), ChinChung, BoonKiat, EeTyng, KianYung, YiChin (showed up for a little while), Meimei (de one who keep letting people teased grew fatter), WaiYee (still that pure and innocent face) and me... We had lunch at Kim Gary and the guys proceeded to play pool while the girls went shopping... Not really catch up a lot with them due to the time constraint and not much chit-chat session though... However, I consider it as a good meet up yesterday, at least we all did not feel awkward talking to each other after a year... Funny ones remain funny, cool ones remain cool, and blur ones remain blur... The only changes might be some of them found their 'boy friend' and girlfriend...
Take note: Not boyfriend but boy friend!

The movie 'Sherlock Holmes' was good in the storyline, but still not my preferred type of movie... After the movie, Bei picked me up and we headed to Ai's house, she jumped into the car and guided us to eat the Bak Kut Teh near Taman Desa... Guiding Bei the way is challenging, because you cannot tell her left or right... Instead you have to tell: "Turn Bei's side (driver seat) later, then keep to Bowl's side (depend on who is sitting on the left)"... Had a full dinner with them, then someone wanted to eat Ice Cream, and another someone suggested a dessert shop in OUG... So we had our next round eating Fu Zhok Yi Mei, Mango Sai Mai Lou, Fa Sang Wu + Tong Yuen, and Tong Bet Let (something like mochi)...


Finally we three monsters felt FULL (which is quite unbelievable), we back to Ai's house, nope, precisely we stopped by roadside near Ai's house, and chit-chat in car for about 45 minutes... The night Bei kept reminding me it supposed to be the last dinner we had, the next one would probably be 2 or 3 years later... Indeed we hardly have time gather anymore since they are all studying overseas...
We know we will definitely change, somehow in some ways, but me and Bei still hoping for the same scene to realize:
Me, Ai, Bei and Qi bringing our husbands, sons and daughters, high tea at some places, or party at someone's house...
'Auntie Bowl, Nicholas (for instance name for Bei's son) bully me!', that was what Bei imagined and I felt warm...
How good if we still stick together when we're old?
How grateful is that if we can still share our thoughts after years?
And how possible is that for all these to happen?
I wonder...


Ai is flying to US again tomorrow, counting down new year on plane...
