I had been to Langkawi during the end of Form 4, which was about 3 years ago... It was a hyper and crazy trip, etched a great memories for me... Went with a big bunch of friends that time, about 30 people, and enjoyed like a teen...
Just back from Langkawi for a 3D2N (can consider it as 3D3N I guess) trip, with 3 good friends... It was the most spontaneous trip I had, and most 'grand' trip I would say... Haha... The trip wasn't that bad although it's not a crazy one like before... I enjoyed this trip pretty much... Couldn't find a proper word to describe it, just that it matched the feeling of us growing up, not teens and not yet adults... The period when we can be independent, we can take care and responsibilities of ourselves...
All 4 of us had different memories for Langkawi before and this time we created the new ones! =)
Basically the trip was planned on 31st Dec morning, confirmed in afternoon and everything booked by evening...
Pretty fast and without second thought!
I start to love spontaneous trip, but seriously, it requires much courage to agree without survey and everything... The afternoon before our trip, I asked Han-Ming call to double-confirm our booking for rooms and car...
Here comes the first dramatic event:
The agent said the resort was fully booked so our booking was canceled BUT she did not inform us until we phoned her!
I was so panic that time as our accommodations were not sure and I booked using my daddy's credit card... Immediately daddy called to the bank and made sure the agent did not charge us for the canceled booking... We then had a discussion and decided to find room only when we reach Langkawi, and rent a car on the spot too...
Packed things until late night and slept for few hours before headed to KL Sentral the next day...
Day 1
Met with Hei at Serdang KTM station, couldn't squeeze into the train and waited for the next one... Reached KL Sentral on time and get onto bus to LCCT with Hon... Catch up a little bit with Hon on the journey before we reached airport... Han-Ming took cab and luckily he didn't head to the wrong airport! XD
Checked in, had breakfast at Marrybrown, and departed at 10.50am... It has been about 10 years since I took a flight, hence cannot really used to the seat and pressure... Feeling headache whenever it's about to land... We reached Langkawi at noon, rented a Viva, and get a room at Langkasuka Resort... The room was big and comfortable with 2 queen-sized beds... Unloaded our luggage and we started our journey! =)
After filled in petrol, we searched the way to Kuah town for our lunch... Visited Eagle Square afterward, and had ice-cream there...
I found Vanilla + Coffee is a delicious match! =)
When we back to our car, there's a 'love letter' there, cost RM30... We kept it and decided to ignore it anyway... Haha... Wanna find the Telaga Harbour initially but failed, so we stopped by Royal Yatch Club for some photos before back to our resort...
As the signboard warned us not to play in the sea due to jellyfish, we played frisbee and kite on the beach... I missed frisbee! So many memories with frisbee during Form 2! =)
Took quite a lot of photos with the awesome sunset on the beach, especially those jumping ones! Hei's target was to capture over 800 photos within 3 days, and we simply exceeded with over 900 photos! A lot of candid shots of course, and I was quite surprised that Hon actually loves taking photos than I expected... Haha...
The steamboat Han-Ming recommended was closed so we had seafood at the restaurant nearby... The dishes were all delicious but the price was expensive indeed... And we saw big fat rat at the bushes by the restaurant! >.<
Back to resort after dinner with beers and Kampai (and my fruit juice)! Haha... Frankly the first night was bored as we had no activity... No pillow talk, no gambling... Han-Ming got his sexy voice since that night, looked pretty sick, so we slept at about 1am I think...
Day 2
Woke up at 8am, had the buffet breakfast at resort restaurant and inquired for the island hopping... It was about 10am when we called so we missed the first session... We booked for the second session which was at 2.30pm... We went to Tanjung Rhu, a really beautiful beach, before island hopping... I love the moment there the most! =)
I love the sea and the waves! And it's just too nice and relax we can sit in the middle of the sea! Oh ya, and here's where the 'gay photos' were taken! Hahahahahaha~
We were hungry and ordered lunch at a malay shop by the jetty... We got not enough time to finish our food so Hon took away and brought it to island hopping... Visited Pulau Dayang Bunting, the largest lake in Langkawi, with a saying where girls will get pregnant after drinking the water there... Only sat a while for the fish spa and we get back to the boat... Saw eagle feeding and relaxed at Pulau Beras Basah... All the places we went, we met mostly foreign tourists and made us so contradict... It feels like we had visited a western country instead of they came to our place... =)
Stopped by to eat cendol after back from island hopping... Showered and we're out for dinner again... After U-turn for many times, we finally decided to have our meal at Sawadee for Thai cuisines... We're the U-turn gang, and Hon be our U-turn Pro! Hahahaha... That was the most satisfied dinner we had as the food was not bad and the price was reasonable... Moreover it's a 'candle-light' dinner! =)
Passed by Chenang and Langkapuri Resort for a few times, so memorable places!
Chat until about 2am at the second night before we fall asleep...
Day 3
The alarm was set at 8am and the two guys only woke up at 10.30am... I went for a beach walk in the morning as it was the last day there... Back to room and chat with Hei at the balcony... Checked out at 11.30am and went for brunch... Red Tomato was the cafe's name, I love that cafe for its design, of course the food too! =)
Took cable car to the top after meal... Met Yin Nang there and found that he would be taking the same flight as us the night... Continued to the waterfall at Seven Wells to enjoy the cooling water... Met some Singaporean and they helped us to took a photo down the waterfall... Han-Ming slide down from the big rock when getting down! Luckily someone caught him on time and prevented him to fall further... Super duper scary moment! How severe it can be if no one was there to save him... He hurt his knee and we found him plaster... I bet he had phobia toward waterfall already... However it's grateful that he's okay and did not hurt his head...
Stopped by KFC where they bought their meals to eat in car, and I took over Hon's place to drive... Back to Kuah town to buy chocolates and liquor before leaving... Hei bought almost RM300 of chocolates, weighed for 8kg! Salute salute! XD
Back to Chenang and had Indian food for our last dinner there... Palace of India... Another expensive meal we had... Reached airport at 9.15pm to return the car... Hon lost his bag there but fortunately someone found it and he managed to claim it back... Took late night flight back to KL and therefore we gotta find our own way back home... Decided to take taxi back to Hon's house and he fetched us back one by one... He slept over at Han-Ming's house because it's too late... Thanks Hon anyway for finding us way to back home so late... =)

My holiday is going to end, 2 more days... And I suddenly miss Langkawi so much! Not yet prepared for classes again, hence when looking at the new semester timetable and subjects just now, I feel so headache! Hectic semester it will be, and also the next following semester...
My friends declare me as Wet Queen, and I think this time is a yes... I went for at least 6 outings and 3 trips within 3 weeks time... Had a lot of fun at the same time spent a lot too... And the problem is now I could not adjust my mood back to study! Give me more time please~ XD
